Xoco

One thing that there’s a lot of in Hong Kong is Mexican. As a British friend said to me– Americans love Mexican food.
Xoco has to be my favorite. Mosque Street is basically the last stand for restaurants on the escalators, so you have to go up a few flights from Elgin Street. But if you do, you’re rewarded with extremely friendly service (for both myself and my dog!), great Mexican food and a great wide open space.
The nachos are the best in town. Lots of topping, but not so much that the chips get soggy. The fajitas sizzle and smell absolutely intoxicating as they come from the kitchen. Burritos are as big as Volkeswagons, and you even get a complimentary shot of tequila at the end of your meal.
Great food, friendly patrons and servers in a comfortable and open space. What more do you need, amigo?
