Not many people fancy in skiing and snowboarding in Hong Kong, I don’t know much at least, but indeed they are fun and cool sports, and trust me, not hard to learn! It’s sad we don’t have snow in Hong Kong, so skiing and snowboarding become sports that are quite costly to play with, the closer snow fields we have are in mainland China, Korea or Japan. For the first two countries, I will say no, don’t waste your money there — their snow is shit, and nothing excited to play with, I will rather spend my money on good food or do an expensive spa. So, if you want to go try skiing/snowboarding and have no clue at all, go check Ski Japan. It’s actually an Australian established company, they have office in Niseko Japan, to offer accommodation, ski/snowboard lessons and rentals to international customers mainly from Australia, Hong Kong, Singapore and others. Since they have office in Hong Kong, they can also help organize flight and other transportation, is a truly considering ski trip travel agency. My experience with Ski Japan is always good, the staff are friendly and everything is well-organized. I used to have a snowboard lesson there, not to mention all instructors can speak English, but also nice and professional. You will love Niseko as I do, it’s a cool ski town with many delicious restaurants, and lots of pubs you can party all night, just walking distant you can ride some fresh powder snow on the other day, winning! I will say that’s one of thebest trips I have. Oh gosh, I wanna snowboarding so bad now!
