Rustico

Came here for lunch today and as have heard it is quite hard to get a table we called ahead and made a reservation.
They have a really nice lunch set with options for vegetarians.
I got the Greek salad and Mediterranean chicken. The salad was very crisp and fresh while the chicken was moist and flavourful. The staff were great and when asked if they could put a rush on the meal as we only had 45 mins before we had to leave they were very accommodating. They were very informed about their menu when we had questions and the English level was quite high. Would like to check this place out for dinner.

Laichikok is a not place you leisurely stroll by, but the new D2 place gives you a reason to come. And smack right beside it is the Rustico restaurant.
As suggested by the name, you’ll be welcomed by a rustic interior complete with brick walls, wooden cabinets, and ceramic jugs lined along the walls. A nice and chill environment to relax after some hectic shopping.
The beef carpaccio and arugula salad was exceptional! Our waiter informed us it’s made from angus beef tenderloin, hence no annoying tendons or chewy bits, and we get juicy meaty bits of goodness every bite.
The roasted half chicken was also above average. The roast was kept moist on the inside and crispy on the out, even for the breast which is easy to overcook, it was handled decently. Would I recommend it? Definitely!
