Mos Burger

Decent fusion style katsu burger inside Langham Place. Lines aren’t usually too long and seating is available.

This is my kind of burger spot! Although I had the shrimp (ebi) burger and not a «real» burger. I really enjoyed my fried shrimp patty burger, it was tasty and the pumpkin croquette was delicious too. I have a thing for anything fried. My BF had the actual burger, it was pretty solid and tasty as well with sauces and all. My only complaint is that the portions are a bit small but I guess coming from the states, we get spoiled and fattened up by large burgers. However, I am also grateful for the smaller (portion controlled) burgers, which means I have room to also eat other delicious foods while vacationing in HK.

Words can’t do justice here. The quality is far and away above anything I’ve had at any chain. Super-​fresh burgers with a Japanese twist. Sides are just as good; Efficient service.

Had the teriyaki burger with fried corn and potato like on top of the burger. Like the sweet and the soft bun. Too much teriyaki sauce and the mayo.

Whenever I am in HK, I never have enough hours in the day to eat all the things I want to eat. But whenever I am strolling Langham, I stop by MOS Burger with my cousin and order the ebi burger. I would like to try a BURGER burger, but I always opt for the ebi burger. Just because we don’t have that over here in Georgia. Oh, and plus it’s super delicious. Fried shrimp cake, wasabi mayo, topped with thinly sliced cabbage. Simply yummayyyyy. Never got to try anything else on the menu, so… I can’t give more than 3 stars.

I don’t think much introduction is needed for this famous fast food joint. MOS burger, having branches all over Japan, Taiwan and Hong Kong, is surely a staple on its own. Both selling burgers, comparing the golden arches to MOS, I am certainly in favor of the later. Not only you can better feel the freshness of the ingredients, you can also feel the attention and passion they put into every item they prepared. For a combo in the arches that costs between $ 21 to $ 40, a burger alone in MOS is already over 20 bucks; however the quality, from the the tomatoes and lettuce to the center piece the patty, is beyond compare.
Okay, truth be told why I am writing on MOS is because of the new burger available at stores now, aka the ELT wagyu burger. ELT stands for eggs lettuce and tomato; guess what, it also has bacon in it~ So basically its a BLT with egg and, you guessed it, a patty dipped in teriyaki style sauce is added into the sandwich. Just from the list of the ingredients you can tell that the burger is quite a behemoth; but the flavors did not fall short compare to the size. Fried eggs are great topping for burgers, the richness of the yolk combined with the sweet and tangy sauce was a pair made in food paradise. The beef patty was juicy and succulent and totally deserved to be the centerpiece of the burger. One bite into the burger, the flavors married so well one with another; I so regret that i was eating too fast and this delicious burger was gone too soon.
I know it is kinda ridiculous to just spend all this time writing about a single burger in a fast food joint; but let me tell you, it is that good!
