利強記北角雞蛋仔

This is probably the most well-​known egg puffs in Hong Kong. Their dough did not disappoint! It was full of egg flavor and a perfect amount of sweetness. They cooked it to perfection too, with the outside crispy and the inside soft and warm.
I got the egg puffs before so this time I tried the waffle with peanut sauce and butter. I liked it but it wasn’t amazing because there was too little peanut sauce to my liking. Next time if I tell them to give me extra peanut sauce, maybe my experience will be better!
Convenient location. Right outside Wan Chai MTR exit next to the Computer Shopping Center, under the footbridge.

雞蛋仔 has always been my comfort snack food when I was a child. Especially during the colder months, nothing beat holding and snacking on an order of freshly made 雞蛋仔.
Back then most of the ones I had was just some random places on the street. I don’t recalled that 雞蛋仔 from北角being the best? But seems like now it is a franchise all around Hong Kong. After eating 永華麵家, we ended up coming here to continue our Wanchai food crawl.
There was no lines so it only took around 10 minute or less for my order to be ready.
I love that freshly prepared smell. Crispy on the outside and soft/​chewy on the inside with just a hint of sweetness… and of course the aroma of egg! Just the way I like mine!
