錦上路跳蚤市場

Few years back then when the West rail finally opened to the public, it has conveniently connected people from Tuen Mun to Hung Hom, and also, brought so many people to places we have never been to. One of them is Kam Tin. Thanks to the Kam Sheung Road station, it is now very easily accessible and what the best part is it has a pseudo flea market on top of it. I read a news article before saying that it was supposed to be developed into a public housing but because of it scrapped the idea since it would cause a severe heat island effect. And now, it has become a place for people to shop.
When it comes to Flea market, one would expect to see vendors selling all kind of merchandise including used goods, and some fairly nice quality products at really low prices. Street vending is one of the most traditional cultures here in Hong Kong. Since the hawking is illegal here, lots of vendors have nowhere else to go to. Thanks to space like this allows them to sell their goods legally and safely. Who says you need to go to the Ladies Market or Temple Street to get local stuff? Come here so that you will not get ripped off and you do not need to haggle as much and still get the bargains at ridiculously low prices.
If you do not care too much for shopping, this is still a nice experience to be in Hong Kong.
