Ambiance/décor-3 Service-3 Food-4 Strikeouts-0/3 This place is a chain conveyor belt-sushi restaurant where you can either custom order from the wait staff, or grab a plate off the belt. As this is a chain restaurant, it’s pretty clean and modern. It’s also a self serve tea(make your own tea!). My only gripe was at the end of my experience where they were adding up the dishes for the final price. It turned out to be more expensive then I thought, because some dish prices actually aren’t listed and could be easily misinterpreted as a another price. I had a blue scallop sashimi, which I thought was $ 25 bucks, but it was a extra premium item that isn’t even shown on the menu which was $ 48. Just gotta be careful what you pick up. Definitely my fault for not asking. For a chain sushi restaurant, I was just hoping for average, and simple sushi. It is exactly what I got, plus a bit more. I was quite honestly quite surprised on the quality and thickness of the slices they gave for their sashimi and it was definitely worth the price. Did some math, and there’s no benefit of taking a sushi off the belt versus ordering so if something is my rolling around and you want it, just call a waiter and order! I came out enjoying each bite! Glad they have these chains randomly over Hong Kong! Note: salt fish like mackerel is a seasonal item for this restaurant

Genki Sushi(with the angry yellow face logo) is a sushi conveyor belt restaurant located at the edge of a shopping mall. You are seated either at the counter in front of the conveyor belt, or at a regular table — if seated at the counter, you can either take items from the conveyor belt that appeal to you or order from the menu. At the end of your meal, the servers tally the colors of your plates to determine your bill. The food is only OK. The idea of eating from a conveyor belt is cool, but we each just ate a couple of items and then left to eat at another restaurant instead. Restroom Tip: go upstairs in the attached mall and follow the restroom signs — the women’s restrooms here are cleaner than your average HK restrooms.
