Another dessert shop! I just realized how easy to spot where I am, just to read the reviews I wrote, and the sweet is definitely one in the top. Ohhh I couldn’t say no to adorable and delicate dessert, but sometimes I do feel like I am destroying an artwork. That’s kind of disadvantage of tasting, we exanimate food by damage — first to break the beautiful plating, then to cut the cake into pieces, and we swallow the food, until nothing left on the plate, ughhhhh. And you know what, you can admire instantly when you feel the taste is great, you gonna go back to buy another piece, only if you are lucky enough to get the exact one and also to feel the same on your second try! We normally think the first one is perfect, second one is good, right?
Maybe because of the reason, we try different desserts shops, looking for fresh excitement rather than go back and maybe get a failure, while our memories keep telling how creamy that vanilla pudding is and how fruity the strawberry napoleon we tasted last week, why not going back… annoying! Ok, so, this is another new try, a small shop in Kwun Tong, in a very European style, which is quite stand out among all industrial buildings around. There are many colorful and elegant sliced cakes, and some whole cakes to choose. After a really hard battle between lemon tart and green tea mousse with strawberry, I chose the green one to try. And not disappointing, the mousse is smooth and clean, the bitterness of green tea matches sour strawberry, and still sweet tough. Yummy! I don’t want to admit just a piece of cake can make my day, but it did (again)!
