Finally tried Catch place for dinner. Same quality dishes as their brunch with the same premium price. We started with a Pint of Prawns($ 138 for a half) with came with toasted bread and two dipping sauces: a soy and ginger one and a lemon aioli that was basically just mayonnaise. The Jamaican jerk chicken($ 168) was really juicy and the jerk seasoning had a nice bold flavor without overpowering the chicken itself. The accompanying cole slaw was crunchy and fresh, cleansing the palate in between alternating bites. The Dukkah crusted Salmon($ 198) was really tender and flavorful, but the ‘currant & onion lentils, fennel salad & tahini sauce’ didn’t offer much volume to the dish which was basically just the salmon. Luckily, we had also ordered the Flash-fried eggplant side($ 58) which was a decently sized dish to share. Including one glass of wine the bill was just under $ 700 which seems like a lot. Considering most places in SoHo have the same premium without the quality, I guess it’s not bad. Not quite for a weekly, neighborhood restaurant but glad to have confirmed another solid dinner option in Kennedy Town.

I’ve been looking out for a proper brunch since forever, but all you can find in Hong Kong is fancy free flows, white table cloth lunch, or fried or scrambled eggs with sausage and baked beans. Catch has taken a different approach. Come here to experience the vibe of Straynian brunch like you would in Melbourne or Sydney. I must say, their brunch is nostalgic. Watercress salad, pan fried chorizo, poached egg, bacon and hash on Hollandaise sauce and chilli oil. You must try The Big Ben. I won’t call their food creative, it is just the way brunches are back home. Will definitely coming back. Not sure about their seafood dinner though.

It is a small restaurant, worth the ride to ktown. Very tasty food! I highly recommend it. Excellent and fast service and friendly staff.

Incredible brunch! Have been here several times now and always love the food, the service, and the atmosphere. A gem in kennedy town among many new restaurants, Catch is a spot you cannot miss

Nice spot. Small, but there is some outside seating available. It was full and quite busy. Went for breakfast and had the Catch Scramble. The eggs were a bit bland, I didn’t taste or see any chili and there was minimal coriander. It was served with sourdough toast which was very good. They use coffee from a local roaster and it was decent. The lemongrass and ginger tea was nice.
