Nice place in a good location. I ordered the pork schnitzel which was a bit thick and dry(could have used a bit more tenderising), friends ordered the nürnberger sausages which were delicious, especially the mash, and the Beef goulash which was decent if also a little dry. We all got the apple strudel for dessert which was possibly the best part! Great german wines on the menu and of course german beer.

I said in my prior review that I was having the Schweinshaxe on my next visit. True to my word, I found myself in Hong Kong last week and headed straight here. It took about 45 minutes to make, but oh my… what deliciousness! The server asked me if I wanted it «cut». I didn’t know what that meant, but it sounded like the norm. I’m glad I went with«cut» because the hog leg came out hacked in a few spots making it much easier to eat. Crunchy skin, meaty pork flavor, lots of collagen, and delicious fatty parts! Right up my adventure eating alley. Yum!

Three great German beers on tap and other options by the bottle; main reason to come. Service is the weakest part of the restaurant/bar. The traditional German fare is quite good especially the lunch special although you have to ask the wait staff to get the whole lunch deal. Many locals stop in, which is a sign of the quality. Only reservation the staff is not very inviting and only the male bartender speaks German.
