I went here because of all of the awesome reviews on Unilocal and it was close to our hotel. It was not amazing. I ordered the stuffed mushrooms and they were a bit off. I also had the lobster tail which seemed overlooked and it was not worth $ 35. Our waiter was nice.

Sit outside for a beautiful ocean view. No happy hour but had the $ 10 mojito. Calamari was good but could have had a little more in an order?

Friendly service. Much better prices than the hotels. Delicious simple food. Cool outdoor seating area. Will admit it’s strange that it has a Hawaiian name and no Hawaiian food AND that its called an oyster bar but saw no oysters offered. Overall, a decent choice if you remember that you are on island time.

Visited this place for dinner with a friend. I ordered the shrimp and lobster pasta, which I was not a fan of. I paid about $ 30 for the plate. I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant.

This place is at the end of Ashford, but well worth the walk. We ate on the back side with an amazing evening beach view. The ambiance was amazing and the food was great too. A definite must!

Awesome atmosphere for dinner. Food and service were great. My shrimp mofongo was delicious. And, nothing is better than having a meal and sipping a Pina Colada while watching and listening to the ocean crash on the rocks right next to the table.

Beautiful outdoor seating but unfortunately we arrived late and it was cold so we had to eat inside. OK food but overpriced — felt like a tourist trap, however the service and location were great.

Started out with an amazing view… Thats were it ended. There is no oyster bar. Not sure why the name… in fact no real oyster bar items on the menu. The oysters rock was really, really bad. Way too much salt, cheese and crap and a frozen oyster under a mountain of god knows what. I had to send em back. The fried calamari is actually cuttle fish… tough and chewy. 12 bucks for a tequila and grapefruit… not bad but when I saw the check they charged additional 2 bucks for each of my 4 drinks for the grapefruit juice. Wife wanted some bread with her very«weak» ceasar salad…4 bucks for bread Service was unexceptable… waited for ever Will not be back not even for the view Visit Ola next door at the vanderbuilt Hotel for a better then everything including an amazing view first class service and awesome food.

It’s a Monday 3:00PM local time, they’re not busy and it has taken 20+ min for an order of 6 wings, not worth it. Server is nice but doesn’t make up for slow service. Order of wings… No sauce, no blue cheese or ranch. I understand this is Puerto Rico and this is not their specialty, but if you put it on your menu, know how to make it.

Service is top notch, food is so fresh and amazing, and my grapefruit mimosa was fresh squeezed and delicious. Not to mention the view-you are right on the water. Great spot!

I depend on Unilocal reviews when I’m choosing a place to eat. That being said I saw this restaurant being advertised on Unilocal when searching. Looking through the reviews here I was surprised that the reviews weren’t higher. The pictures of the view definitely made me over look the reviews since I was also only planning on getting raw oysters. We ended up staying for lunch and we had a great waitress that was attentive and gave us great suggestions. I ordered the blackened grouper and my boyfriend ordered the churrasco. Both were very satisfying and delicious. I absolutely recommend this place looking for reasonable priced lunch with a great view!

They have really wonderful food here. Lunch menu ranges around $ 10, which is quite a deal. However, if you get their mojito,(which is also $ 10) it may add up. This place actually had the best mofungo I’ve had during my trip to PR. Really delicious, light, crispy and paired really well with the Beef stew on top. Great views outside if you choose to sit outside, and very nice and caring service. Well worth it to come here for lunch.

Really surprisingly good food! They have a lunch menu that’s about $ 10 for everything, pretty good deal of you aren’t trying to eat at subway for lunch. I get the brunch burger, it was decent. Must get the mofungo on the lunch menu, it’s beef stew over mofungo! So good!!! Had mofungo a lot in PR but this was very light and crispy like a fries. The stew was well seasoned and delicious! Great view from outside, but I sat under the AC and looked outside through the window.

The service was amazing and the food even better. I enjoyed my meal so much that we came back two times after the first visit. The Food: Crab Stuffed Mushrooms– This was a good starter but I would suggest looking to another sampler. For $ 9 the mushrooms were quite small. Crispy Jumbo Shrimp: Can you say JUMBO? these things were huge and tasty Paella– WOW. The oysters, the shrimp, the calamari! Everything was on point for this dish. Shrimp and Lobster Pasta– I don’t think I have ever seen lobster chunks and shrimp that large! The pasta was well seasoned and perfect in every sense. Did I mention the amazing view of the beach? I really enjoyed my time at this restaurant. the experience was superb each time. I’m looking forward to my next trip!

I had a solid 4 star experience here for lunch. I though I would not like it here… especially when I walked in and saw one waitress running the whole restaurant. But honestly, there was not much to complain about. I ordered the Waikiki salad, and my fiancé ordered the yuca mofongo stuffed with ropa veja. His meal was incredible. We both have never tasted yuca or ropa veja like that. He was very please with it. Although my salad sounds boring on paper(lettuce, chicken, cheese, and avocado) it was actually extremely fresh and satisfying.

Food: — Crab Stuffed Mushrooms: This was probably my least favorite dish. 5 pieces of mushrooms lightly topped with crabmeat and breadcrumbs, drizzled with truffle sauce. I know that the dish is stuffed mushrooms but it had too much of a mushroom taste for me. They were skimpy on the crab meat. Some pieces hardly had any. I wouldn’t order this again. 2.5÷5 — Empanada Chapin: Came with 3 empanadas. The chapin was tasty and I liked how the empanadas weren’t too greasy. I have had better empanada chapin but it was still good. 3.5÷5 — Red Snapper with Mofongo de Yuca: The red snapper was tender and tasty. It was fried perfectly. The monfongo de yuca was so good! The yuca was creamy and flavorful. I really liked the extra crunch. It tasted amazing with the garlic sauce. 5⁄5 Service: Amazing. Our waiter, Emmanuel, did a great job in suggesting food. He often checked up on us. He was friendly, polite, and very attentive. He split our bill accurately. Oh, and we sat outside which has a gorgeous view of the ocean. 5⁄5 Final Thoughts: Great service and good entrees. Everyone I ate with enjoyed their meal. I would come back again.

I had a great experience here with my friends. I came on Saturday 4⁄12 with a group of friends for dinner. We got outdoor seating near the beach. It was a great view. Our server was Emmanuel and he was the nicest server I’ve encountered since I moved to PR! He seemed real genuine with all the suggestions he gave, and took time to explain things to us and took care of us. He had such a warm vibe. All of my friends enjoyed their food! We got crab stuffed mushrooms, ceviche, stuffed pork, red snapper?, lobster and shrimp pasta, and more dishes I forgot. But everyone had all positive things to say about their food! Great service. Good food.

The restaurant was walking distance from our hotel. We stopped by for lunch earlier. The ocean view is so incredibly breathtaking but the heat scared my mom to get an indoors table still overlooking the view. There was only one server/hostess and I saw one person in the open kitchen cooking the food. Definitely check out the Lunch Specials hidden behind the menu. Food: Blackened Grouper Filet with rice and beans as a side and an order of Tostones I share the food with my mom and we both really enjoy! A must try if you’re around the neighborhood!
