Food and service are great here — the employees were super friendly to me while I was in a bad mood, and the burritos are quite large and yummy. I’ve had some great MexKorean tacos and while these did not really measure up to the«best of the best», I was overall satisfied. I was sort of floored by the prices, though. I understand that there probably aren’t a whole lot of Koreans on the island, but I was personally offended at the $ 8+ shin ramyun my mom ordered.

The service is OK, the noodles are OK, everything else was just not what I was expecting. I understand it is a fusion between Korean and Mexican but I was hoping for more authenticity.

It was pretty good. Not a 5 star Korean style meat but pretty good especially in the burrito I enjoyed it in. Good ambiance. Clean.

Only korean place I found in PR. It was ok. I can’t be too critical given I’m in Puerto Rico. Asian food in general isn’t worth the price on the island. But if you have a craving, this place isn’t bad. I’m from Los Angeles so I’m probably pretty biased with Asian food.

The place looks one step up from a bad food truck but don’t let looks deceive you; my spicy ramen could not have been better. The egg in it was poached perfectly, the broth flavorful and the noodles perfect. I’ll be returning.

Rate this place at 3.5 stars. Similar to chipotle, TaKo serves Korean food in multiple forms — taco, burrito, rice bowl, or ramen. They also serve multiple flavors of bubble tea. My girlfriend and I both got burritos(one galbi and one bulgogi). The burritos were delicious and surprisingly had an authentic Korean taste. We also shared a coconut bubble tea. I would recommend the burrito but pass on the bubble tea. Definitely recommend the gochujjang pepper sauce. I would definitely visit again as the food was filling, delicious, and inexpensive.

Place is clean and food is good. Only complain is that they take a while to prepare the bubble teas.

Food was good. Price was expensive being the only Korean food we could find in PR.

I love this place because it’s the only Korean restaurant in Puerto Rico. I regularly go there for lunch, and while the service can be slow if there’s a line, the food never disappoints. They used to have beef bulgogi, but the machine broke some months ago and they haven’t replaced it, so now I get it veggie. I went a couple times in the evening, but the food didn’t seem as fresh then(there were fewer patrons too). They have a special sriracha sauce that they put on the bibimbap which is amazing!

The spicy ramen was delicious and well cooked. The bubble tea is refreshing and delicious as well. I recomend the Taro flavor one ;)

I had the Korean tacos and they were just okay, though I must preface that it was later in the evening so they didn’t have everything. The idea is great and there are no other places that I know of in San Juan to get a Korean taco. The service was excellent and very friendly.

I recently visited TaKo and I got addicted. I stayed in San Juan area for 2 weeks and I literally went there 10 days. I tried their burrito with different meats every day since then… I’m back in the state and I miss so much… I went to chipotle and just couldn’t go anymore… TaKo spoiled my palate… and nothing equal to it. I think I’m going to fly to San Juan to grab me some burritos… tacos…bibimbap…ramen… Please TaKo… open TaKo in the states… specially in DC.

This place has the best mexican burrito I have had in Puerto Rico. To bad it is not a mexican restaurant because the ones that say mexican should go and try it. It is very good.

Korean-Mexican. My two favorite foods mixed into one meal — what’s not to love? It works like a Chipotle where you go through the line, take your pick of a burrito, taco, plate, etc. Choose a meat(I recommend bulgogi), and then add your toppings. It’s casual, straightforward and tasty. The restaurant is kept clean and the owner and staff are friendly. Perfect for to-go lunches or quick sit-in dinners. As a special treat, they also have bubble drinks; try the avocado, it’s delish!
