Excellent clean store and with healthy vegan food options in the deli. Food was good but service was slow due to new help being trained. Definitely worth going back again for the food options despite the service. The smoothie selection was excellent and my triple berry smoothie was good without being overly sweet.

A wonderful oasis of healthiness! So nice to be able to get the healthy brands I’m used to buying. The café upstairs is fantastic. A nice selection at great, low prices.

If you’re traveling and want an organic, healthy grocery store or restaurant(upstairs) at cheap prices, this is the place. They also had many gluten free options. Staff is also kind and knowledgeable. We stopped by here several times.

This place is just great! If you are into Whole Food/Wegmans, this is your place! The upstairs deli/restaurant is awesome! It has a nice selection of tasty food at reasonable prices. Highly recommended!

So happy to have a healthy grocery store close to where I stayed at in Puerto Rico. If you shop at Whole Foods… this is the place to hit up for healthier alternatives. Fresh produce/organic and they carry similar products sold in the main land. Products are limited and they don’t have the exact same name brands. Pricing is fair and maybe just a bit higher than the US. Mostly came here for the fresh fruits and snacks.

This is THE Whole Foods Market of Puerto Rico! In this spacious and modern building, you will find a myriad of organic foods and products as well as vegetarian and vegan milks, cheeses and meats. The upstairs portion has a cafeteria with both meat and non meat hot meals ready to order as well as sandwiches and personal pizzas. Try the macaroni salad and coleslaw both made with vegan mayo… yum! For less than $ 10, you can have yourself tasty, healthy meal. It’s a great alternative to the majority of restaurants in Condado consisting mostly of Puerto Rican meats and mofongo. If you want a healthy option, try Fresh Mart!

What a great place for groceries and for a healthy bite to eat. The café upstairs was so tasty, the prices are very reasonable and the whole place was so clean. I will definitely go back next time I am in Puerto Rico.

Went in for the breakfast and have to say that it was anything BUTFRESH!!! The wedge potatoes and hashbrown appeared to have been made yesteray and they just nuke them some. The coffee, burnt with an awful flavor. The only passable and fresh thing were the eggs. Definetly, not going to reccomendvit for Brunch.

Yes, it is pricey, but this is PR, so you are unlikely to find this kind of stuff anywhere else. I just happen to be miffed because I bought some nectarines yesterday and went to cut them up and they were totally brown and rotten. Uhm Freshmart, your prices are high enough, can you make sure that I don’t accidentally buy spoiled produce please??? It shouldn’t even be on your shelves. Thanks

Best pancakes ever! Go eat upstairs(be patient) but they are incredible. Smoothies and juices equally great all for better pricing than everywhere else . Also made great breakfast sandwiches. A total hidden gem

I was there in August 2014, and it was one of my favorite places to get a healthy lunch that was not going to be overpriced like the other places in the area. The eating area on the second floor is clean and modern. There are plenty of vegetarian options, and the prices are reasonable. The market downstairs is relatively small and expensive, but they carry a lot of healthy foods.

The place has a dinner is not gluten free or vegan friendly. Is attach to a healthfood so you can buy food to cook at home. It is the best health food market in supply you can find in the area of San Juan.:)

It provides an inexpensive healthy dinning traveling at Puerto Rico. The food at second floor tastes OK considering the price, if you don’t want to spend $ 50 each meal for two persons. The environment is also clean and bright. Plus, it opens at Christmas today! Would recommend to come over for a light meal.

The only reason I give this new place a sucky review is because the prepared food sucks, or should I say the preparer sucks. We went on a Saturday morning and ordered a mushroom and cheese sandwich, which was really nasty: it was soggy with oil and the portobello mushroom was not cooked properly; the chunky girl at the helm seemed to have bad mojo: grumpy. I really felt I did not want to eat any food that she touched. I know that sounds mean, but it is really how I felt. Also, the potato salad was the BLANDEST crap I have ever had, and it had a wizened(nasty, old) olive on it… why serve an ancient olive in a place that is overrun with fresh olives? Is there a special school where whole foods folks go to learn how NOT to cook? Every since Moosewood Cookbook came out years ago every hippy thinks she can cook without sugar, salt or spices, or technique. The café itself it gorgeous, a real gem for Puerto Rico, and the best part of the whole place is the standup cold drink coolers; you just open the glass door like in 7⁄11 and grab your drink; I got an organic root beer for .85. At checkout the girls were chatting and indifferent: rude. I would fire the whole staff and rehire«friendly» and«healthy» looking workers so this place can get up and going. Also, if they cannot«fix» the food and the service, this place may sink, even with the really beautiful surroundings up top. If they do not change their ways, I may just go to drink coffee, tea and soft drinks; you can sit up over the store and watch Ashford Avenue: it reminds me of place I went in NYC back in the day. Really, healthy food does not have to suck this bad. Added pics to prove my point; I’m 4 real people! And I gotta witness :)

Hidden gem. Upstairs cafeteria has great breakfast. First day we had the ginger whole wheat pancakes and farina hot cereal. Today we had the omelet with toast, great portions and I got the farina hot cereal again. We both got coffee. Service was very friendly. We would have paid 3x this for a mediocre breakfast at our hotel.

This establishment is just down the street from my hotel. They are open late, so it’s a total life saver. This grocery reminds me of a mini Trader Joe’s or Whole Food Store, so some of the items are a little more expensive. However, it’s worth it since you can find organic food, gluten free goods, vegan cheeses, almond milk, raw stevia and slimming teas. Nice selection of protein shakes, and they have a small deli that is very cheap. They have acai bowls, and awesome ready made sandwiches. :)

Stayed at the Marriott Stellaris just up the street for a week. The grocery store on the lower level is like a mini Whole Foods. Upstairs is a wonderful casual deli. It serves breakfast, as well as takeaway type deli style foods. There are several kinds of pizza that you can get by the slice(like, sweet potato and onion not just your usual slice of pizza) — options with regular cheeses or vegan cheeses. You can also order larger sizes. Then, there is the cold salads section with a variety of options — from a wonderful potato salad, coleslaw, black bean salad, macaroni salad and the like. There is also a hot bar with a variety of vegetarian or vegan foods. The rice and beans are always outstanding, and very cheap — under $ 4 for a main. We ate there everyday for a week. Also, bought picnic food and brought it to the rainforest for lunch as vegetarian/vegan options there are lacking. The vegan combo plate for $ 8 gives you three choices of and entrée and two sides of whatever you want. The staff was outstanding — very accommodating, informed and nice. Ask questions as they were always very happy to explain every ingredient in any dish, and offer you a taste if you wanted as well. Overall, strongly encourage anyone seeking fresh, yummy food to check it out.

Lots of waiting and there was no one in line. They burned our pizzas. Messed up our juice order. Deli attendant was not knowledgeable of their products. Overall not a good experience. I give them three stars because we go to their Guaynabo and Hato Rey facilities quite frequently and know how good they can be.

Like a little Whole Foods. Not cheap, but great place to find specialty gluten-free and allergy friendly snacks for vacation.
