First day in PR and we were starving on the way to the hotel. Two drinks did us in(that’s how empty our stomachs were). I had the salmon filet with garlic sauce and my bf had the steak with garlic sauce. Both were good but didn’t consist of the best quality of ingredients. I’m used to medium fish so this was very overcooked. I would rate the food as average but the service/drinks at a 4. The chimichurri sauce was delicious!!! So were the tostones! Worth a visit and the atmosphere is about as relaxed as it gets.

This place was totally unexpected. We were tired and hungry after the beach and looking for something less touristy on Christmas Day. We saw this place as we were driving by and it had a good amount of locals so we decided to check it out. We loved it! We wanted seafood and everything here was reasonably priced and they also have daily specials. My sister, mom and I had the deep fried red snapper with mofongo/side salad and the Peruvian style ceviche with tostones/side salad, tres leeches and fries. The fish was perfectly fried/seasoned(so much flavor!)and the ceviche was amazing. Huge portions as well! I agree the location isn’t the best and some tourists might feel a little sketched out but there is a good amount of residential housing on the block and a parking lot right in front of the restaurant that you can park for free. The service is excellent. Daisy the bartender spoke a little bit of English that was enough to get our order and some laughs. The place is also 24⁄7. Would definitely come back for the deep fried fish!

And so we had just gotten off the plane, our first night in Puerto Rico, haven’t done a groceries run, starving, and it was 2:30am… started driving around to look for the first restaurant that was still open, and ended up here. Let me put it this way… The only reason I would ever come and eat here is if I’m starving, it’s late at night, have absolutely nothing in the house to eat, and don’t mind getting mugged. There were a lot of items on the menu they didn’t have available. I just wanted some friggin tacos, but they didn’t have any. I ended up getting the Chicken Wings and Fries. Too bad it had no flavors whatsoever. No seasoning, no salt, nothing. It was obvious that everything being prepared was frozen, heated up and served on a plate. Eating cardboard would at least be crunchier(just an assumption). Anyway, they are open 24 hours. The dining area is an open area with a covered roof. There is a separate bar area. They accept credit cards. A parking lot out in the front.
