The service was fine, but the food was the epitome of «meh» and very generic. I don’t think the food *was* old, but it tasted kind of old. That might also be due to the fact that the heat lamps they had the food under either weren’t real heat-lamp bulbs or were cruddy heat-lamp bulbs. Our food was — without us requesting it — microwaved before it was given to us. I guess that would be my take-away. It looked like there were enough other options selling more or less the same dishes, so maybe shop around before settling on this place.

I had a great experience here but the other reviews look like it can be a hit or miss kind of place. We had the papa rellena(delicious fried ball of mashed potatoes with ground meat inside), the bistec was pretty good and their beans were the best I’ve had in PR. The special comes with a mixed drink and the piña colada I had was loaded up with booze :). I forget how much it was but I think we paid around 18 for everything which included water and orange juice.

It was a Monday afternoon and a lot of places were closed. We chose this place because it was packed with locals. It was a little pricey but the shrimp tacos were amazing. I didn’t know what to expect from Puerto Rican tacos and I’m not big on fried food but the pastry shell was delicious. The shrimp was very fresh also.

Worst service ever. It also took about an hour to get our food. The food was decent, but not worth the prices. Just asking for water seemed to be an issue for them. Our waitress literally said«No» with attitude when I asked for an extra minute to decide what to order and in the end they overcharged our bill. Quite possibly the worst dining experience my family and I have ever had. I do not recommend this place.

There are so many good places on this strip, all selling the same thing. I thought this place was good, but a little pricey compared to others. The sweet plantains stuffed with beef and chicken were out of this world good. Some of the best. However other dishes like the potato ball stuffed with meat were NOT good. So there was a little good, and a little bad.

First place we hit on the kiosks strand. We enjoyed it, but didn’t know any better. There are surely better places to eat. We had arepas, empanadas, and other fried treats. It was good to the novice, newcomer palatte, but we had better the following days we stayed. Still, as a visitor it was delicious. Worth the money. It was cheap.

Bet you could find better food for a leaser blow on your buck and for BETTER service. On such a long kiosko strip, my advise is: move on along. Service was horrible, food was bad.

I had high hopes for this place after reading some of the reviews but I was pretty disappointed when it was all over. The good: shrimp and crab empanadas. Light crispy crust good filling. The fresh coconuts were fresh and sweet for $ 2 each. They’ll cut it open for you too. The bad: cod fritters were decent but we ordered 4 which was too many. They’re a little salty. Fried shrimp with rice was nothing more than frozen breaded shrimp. The salty: we order the crab Puerto Rican style and it was so salty that I only took 2 spoonful and stop eating it. My wife took one bite and almost threw up. It was like someone spilled salt over the entire dish and didn’t bother to clean it up. I tried to dump rice into it and the mofongo was too dry. NEVERORDERTHISDISH! Service was slow as well.

This kiosk was on luquillo beach. My boyfriend and i ordered a beef alcapurria which was very good, a bacalaito which i thought was way too greasy and not all that, and a seafood mofongo with criolle sauce. The mofongo was delicious! its was soft and made fresh with a variety of seafoods.

One of the Luquillo Kioskos and very full of customers on a sunday afternoon. We were a group of six, we ordered the bacalaito, pastelon, alcapurria beef and crab, shrimp mofongo, etc. Everything was pretty much fried but they were made to order(except some of the smaller items alcapurria and pastelon)

The food looked to have been sitting in a display case since the morning. I understand wanting to sell everything you make, but it gets to a point where you need to make fresh food. I’ve had much better divey seafood in my life and I do not recommend this kiosk.

Beef taco Beef empanada Chicken empanada errapa de coco pina coladas ALL these were excellent, and CHEAP. I’ve said it in other reviews for the ‘shacks’ in the strip at Luquillo. THISISWHERETOEAT. Seriously, I didn’t get the shits even once. No, I’m serious, I didn’t!

This is one of the Luquillo Kiosks. We had an assortment of the turnovers, tacos, an arepa di coco, and a plantain stuffed with beef. It was all good, but not exceptional. The Pina Coladas were pretty good here.
