Since you are reading this in real time, I’m writing my review in real time(an Einstein says what?). As I am dining alone, I sat at the bar(not a loner, just on a business trip with a bunch of loners). The bar tender took my drink order and gave me a menu. I enjoyed a hoppy local beer, El Coqui and ordered baby backs and BBQ chicken. They give you home made styled potato chips to start. The ribs and chicken were good, the corn muffin was amazing and I loved the beans. It was a nice repose from the mofongo and lechon asado. Check it out.

Not The glory… but the Ribs are really good and for the kids .good Kid menu options… The bad … When we ask for dessert they did not have ice cream and most of their dessert has ice cream so, we ate dessert at cold stone. Next to it… also we had a god service by our server… nice place

Famous Daves is always one of my top BBQ places to eat while in the states. We hadn’t had much luck with American establishments while in San Juan but we thought we would give this a try. I can honestly say, I am glad we went. The BBQ was as expected although the service was very slow(I think this is just a Puerto Rico thing?). Anyway, if you like good traditional American BBQ, this place is for you. They have multiple sauces for all your different tastes. I like it spicy so I always choose Devils Spit. It has heat and flavor! Highly recommend!

I guess it’s the closest I’m going to get to American style BBQ in PR. Service was good and our server explained about the entire menu. Husband was very happy w/ribs, mashed potatoes and dirty rice. I had the Georgia pork and it was insanely salty. Never again, Mac and cheese is good(very rich). I’ll definitely go back when craving for BBQ hits, but that never getting that pork again.

Nice employees but not extremely well trained. «The Feast» showed up reasonably quickly but nothing was hot: Warm at best. Flavors were good, brisket was dry and corn on the cob was way overcooked. This is a new, large, beautiful space which was almost empty for lunch. The Feast with 2 Beers was $ 63 without tip. I really don’t see this restaurant lasting long on the island. It’s expensive and there’s lots of competition very close by including Longhorn and Sizzler.

On vacation and after tirelessly looking for someplace to eat, we decided to go with this place. Being a native Texan, I was already skeptical about eating BBQ in another state, let alone a different country(I know pr is technically the US, but it feels so foreign). Very good food and great service. I was not disappointed and would eat here again. I had originally given this place 5 stars. It got 3 stars because we ordered banana pudding to-go after eating. They charged the card for it before they served it, then realized they did not have any. They tried to do a refund, then said they couldn’t do a refund, and offered my husband a gift card. He told them that would not work because there wasn’t a FD anywhere near us. They finally gave him the cash value of the three banana puddings, but did not factor in the tax, which was a few dollars. I will say our server was very nice during the whole thing, which took at least 20 minutes.

Of course they have great ribs, but their popularity has led them to raise their prices. The last time I checked well over $ 30. for a reck of ribs.

Food quality is great. The service is a little slow and food coming out of the kitchen took a while but it was packed. Beaware the server will push the 15% tip automatic.

They’re back to 5 star level of barbecue ribs after my last visit the most recent ones have been better. The St. Louis ribs are meaty, flavorful, tender, and particularly good with the Memphis dry rub. I also like the BBQ chips and corn on the cob.

We recently visited the place as this modality of cooking is not locally known. We ordered the family feast(party of 4) in order to have a taste of everything. The meats weren’t too spicy or dry but rather tasty and the corn muffins were crispy on the outside and soft in the inside just as it should be. The BBQ ribs along with the chicken and the brisket were excellent. We ended up taking about half of it home because it was too much food. They have six kind of sauces that nobody explains to you what they for. Later we found out as we tried one by one, that each one had their own peculiarity and they go from mild to very spicy. On the negative part we were missing silverware and two of the menus were dirty with sauce drops. I am sure they can correct these minor details and this is the reason for my 4 points rating. Good job guys!

If you don’t speak Spanish don’t waste your time! The entrée was served together with the main course and cold and when asked for silverware the waitress brought the sauces. I would have expected a lot more from this restaurant. Honestly the way it is its not worth it.
