Hidden gem in the centre of Porto. Charming tiny bar, staff is welcoming and speaks English. Mostly frequented by locals. The food menu is on the chalkboard. They don’t have a menu for drinks — most Portuguese bars don’t — but you won’t burn a hole in your wallet here, the pricing is very reasonable.
Don’t be shy if you have a gluten allergy, they are happy to accommodate and prepare you a custom, allergen-free dish. They also have free wifi, just ask for the password.
Be sure to order their signature cocktail «Terror of the deep” — strong and sweet. High quality food and excellent service — if you’re around I recommend making this your first stop.
