I visited this restaurant with my wife and 2 year old toddler this afternoon. From the outside, the restaurant looked empty and we were a little bit surprise that the restaurant was empty but they had so many waiters standing by. They have buffet, but we came only for something lighter. After we were seated, the served us fruit, water and octopus salad. My wife really loved the octopus salad. The server than asked for our orders. I ordered summer salad and my wife ordered pasta with shrimp to be shared with my toddler. We had to wait for quite a long time to get our order ready, we had to wait around 30 minutes. We were hungry and my daughter had been bored. After 30 minutes, our orders finally arrive. I was surprised because they served me fish soup(in a wok) with rice instead of summer salad. I told the waiter that I ordered the salad, but he insisted that I ordered fish soup. As my wife told me not to escalate the issue further and made our lunch not enjoyable, we just accepted that. The fish soup was huge and intended for 2 persons. I felt cheated by the waiter because the fish soup was 46 Euro. We felt like two clueless tourists who were just conned. We could not finish the food, because we ‘ordered’ too much. I requested the waiter to pack the soup and the pasta, the pasta were barely touched because were soo full from the fish soup. I was really surprised that they just poured everything(pasta and the soup) into a single container. I was speechless. Because I didn’t want to deal with them anymore, we just left, with still cheated feeling. If you are a tourist, be careful if you visited this restaurant. The might changed your order to something more expensive. Damage: 83 Euro, turn out the octopus salad they served was 12 Euro

After visiting other Portugese restaurants in the area Restaurant O Nobre, Avenida Sacadura Cabral 53-B — , was a pleasant surprise for us, seafood lovers. The Cataplana do Mar, a mixed seafood dish for two with rice, was nicely plated at our table and of excellent taste due to a balanced combination of seafood, herbs and rice. The owner recommended to share the Sopa de Santola, their signature crap soup as described and photographed by other reviewers, as starter which for us was a great combination. The fine dry Douro white house wine was in harmony with the dishes selected and had a reasonable price tag(€ 19.50). Overall the professional attendance of the guests(by 5 waiters + owner) in combination with a relaxed atmosphere and quality seafood makes us look forward to our next Lisbon trip and visit to O Nobre!

After our check in with the hotel, Unilocal lisbon gave us a hand with some restaurants in the vicinity. After passing 3 restaurant we came across this restaurant which looked nice on the outside but had a decent pricetag according to Unilocal. We decided to give it a go. After entering we stumbled upon a rather empty restaurant with 5 waiters standing ready to take orders. Later we came to understand we were a little early, cause of the 1 hour time difference, however the amount of waiters for the size of the restaurant was a little overwhelming. The waiters spoke english and were polite. As soon as we were seated we were asked for drinks and if we wanted some complimenatry bread with butter. Shortly after the bread we took a reccomendation from the restaurant owner which was a crab soup for starters and minnow with rice and carrots as our main course. The presentation of the crab soup was lovely witb a comb that looked like the shell of a crab. The soup itself was rather salty but sweet which compensated a little and had pieces of fresh crab in it. After finnish our main coures arrived in about 10 minutes. The presentation was alright but not as imppresive as the crab soup. The minnow had a good and fresh taste and was covered in a sweet and slightly crisp dough which was baked. The rice with carrot was a little salty for my taste but was an OK addition to the minnow. We finnished up with some coffee. Together with the dishes it made a whole but lacked a little in distinct taste cause of the saltiness, and the price tag of € 40 p. p I expected a little more.
