Lisboa Carmo Hotel

Great restaurant with a very nice atmosphere: a good mix between classy and modern-​retro.
The food was delicious. Everything was very well prepared and presented — congrats to the Chef. The menu offers a good balance of Portuguese and classic dishes.

Fantastic hotel and staff. Booked last minute after an Airbnb disaster and they were our saviors. Great location, clean, modern décor and as others have stated, the breakfast is unbelievably good! Stay here, you won’t regret it!

My friends and I ended up booking a room at the Lisboa Carmo Hotel on a last-​minute whim. Each one of us was blown away by the friendliness of the staff, cleanliness of the building and ambiance of the entire hotel.
We booked separate rooms and were very surprised to find that each room had a unique design that was very classy and made the most of the space given. The beds were extremely comfortable and the room with the view of the city was worth the upgrade!
The breakfast was full of options, and was by far the best breakfast we experienced on our two-​week trip.
We were given welcome and departure drinks and pastries from the hotel staff. In addition to that, upon our departure we were given a small tutorial/​tasting from the hotel’s manager Nuno.
We were very sad to leave and will definitely be back upon our next Lisbon trip.

Arrêt pour déjeuner sur une place tres agréable de Lisbonne avec deux guitaristes qui distillent quelques riff connus (clapton, jackson…). L’endroit eut pu être parfait si ce n’est la cuisine infâme livrée ici: des pâtes avec trois légumes cuits à l’eau dans un fond de bouillon de légumes… j’etais déjà bien meilleur cuisinier quand j’étais étudiant… ccl: oui pour le cadre, oui pour l’ambiance, mais autant prévoir des sandwichs !!!

Foi apenas um dia de estadia no Lisboa Carmo Hotel, mas apesar da minha rápida permanência, consigo ainda hoje enumerar quatro boas razões para justificar as quatro estrelas deste luxuoso e, ao mesmo tempo, acolhedor alojamento. Antes de mais, a ótima e acessível localização do Lisboa Carmo. Situado em plena Rua da Oliveira ao Carmo, o hotel está próximo do Largo do Carmo, um espaço especial para ir passear com os amigos ou família nas noites mais quentes. Além disso, ao abrir a porta do quarto, senti-​me completamente em casa, com tanta limpeza, conforto e modernidade. Só é pena que o espaço para a casa de banho seja um pouco pequeno. Por outro lado, o restaurante do hotel, com o nome bem português «Maria do Carmo», é um mimo. Os pratos têm uma apresentação irrepreensível, a decoração lembra as antigas tabernas portuguesas e, de entre os vários petiscos do menu, provei (e chorei por mais) o «Prego Maria do Carmo». A carne é suculenta, tenra e saborosa. Finalmente, praticamente em todas as divisões do Hotel, deparei-​me com uma vista cinematográfica para o Chiado, para a Baixa, enfim, para Lisboa.
