Okay, so I know this is a chain (and is even in Beverly Hills right now, oh jeez), but this was my favorite place for dessert in Lisbon! In the land of eggy pastries, Amorino was the light of my life, with a multitude of vegan sorbets. The sorbets were so creamy and fruity, not too sweet, and they even had a dark chocolate sorbet that paired perfectly with their strawberry. My family loved the dairy gelatos and gladly accompanied me here for a treat after dinner.
The staff spoke perfect English, gladly offered samples, and were overall just very pleasant. Yay for vegan desserts!

Als ein Pärchen vor meiner Nase diesen Laden mit Eis-Blumen verlassen hatte, dachte ich noch nie so schnell «Haben wollen!».
Auf den ersten Blick wirken die Preise happig (ein kleines Eis hatte 2 € nochwas gekostet), aber die Menge entspricht etwa 2 Kugel Eis, was wiederum okay ist.
Zum Geschmack: Sensationell lecker!

Amorino ist eine Kette von Eisdielen, die es mittlerweile schon in vielen Städten gibt; es hat mich echt gefreut, diese Kette in Lissabon entdeckt zu haben, ich habe lange nicht mehr so gutes Eis gegessen! :)
Die Preise hier sind nicht gerade niedrig, aber es lohnt sich auf jeden Fall :) Für 3 – 5 € kann man sich eine Waffel in klein, mittel oder groß auswählen, auf die man beliebig viele Eissorten draufmachen kann, also so viel wie halt drauf passt: D Das Eis wird auf der Waffel dann noch so schön geformt, dass es aussieht wie eine Blume! Ich habe mich dann für Mango, Joghurt und Haselnuss entschieden — alle drei Sorten haben super geschmeckt! Das Mangoeis war so schön fruchtig und Joghurt und Haselnuss so schön sahnig und fest.
Unbedingt mal ausprobieren! :)

Adoro gelados, mas sempre que posso tento fugir à tentação. Desta vez, não consegui resistir a um convite de um grande amigo que já conhecia a loja, situada na Rua Garrett, em pleno Chiado. O atendimento foi bastante rápido, mesmo com fila. Para os mais indecisos, como eu, que fiquem baralhados com a quantidade enorme de sabores disponíveis, os empregados sabem propor combinações de gelados, bastante saborosas e criativas. Estes gelados são ainda feitos de forma artesanal, que lhes conferem um sabor único. Vou voltar.

During my Europe trip, I’ve consistently returned to this gelato store (Paris, Madrid, Barcelona, and now Lisbon). The texture is magnificent and the flavors as well.
I’m disappointed that the Lisbon locations don’t have the macaron ice cream sandwiches, but the gelato is highly recommended!
If you’re from the states, New York has a branch too, which should be just as amazing.
