Yelpowa impreza w ogrodzie

My first Unilocal party, and our Community Manager’s first official party –There were balloons, pizza, cool people, and a Pirate Chest of beer on ice with golden lions on the bottles that made me feel like a Lannister (even though I’m far from blonde), a feeling which was intensified by the Unilocal-​red decorations.
First of all, Café Spokojona is a great venue to have a larger party or to organize an event. It’s out of the way (directly on the other side of the cemetery near Arkadia at the end of Spokojna street — hence the name), it has a lovely garden area and provides organizers with all of the amenities (dance floor/​bar/​kitchen/​etc.). Prior to the Unilocal party, I was here for an outdoor wedding reception, which was beautifully pulled off with modern, urban flair. The café has it’s own pizza ovens, thanks to which we were provided with several rounds of fresh, hot (and free ;)) pizza.
As if free beer and pizza weren’t enough, the best part of the party was the balance between mild Unilocal related diversions and good company. I was a little bit worried that for some reason the party would be more American — perhaps because Unilocal is American, perhaps it was the name tags — and would learn towards party games and ice breakers (I don’t know what our fascination is with gamifying everything… but turning everything into sport seems to be the real American National Sport). Yet, it turned out that the planned activities were nice and inspired people to participate, engage, and post. A large group eventually gathered around the big pin wheel board, which Unilocalers were spinning after posting a picture on their Unilocal profile in order to win small prizes. The prizes were cool. I got a pair of sunglasses and I posted my first picture on Unilocal.Besides that there was a large, red inflatable couch, which is just inherently cool. The best part though was meeting new people who share a common interest and spending time with my friends (no matter how cheesy that sounds).
Many thanks to our lovely host and Community Manager, Aga S., whose Unilocal-​red dress and matching lipstick were spot on perfect for the event ;) for throwing such a lovely summer garden party. Can’t wait for more Unilocal parties in Warsaw!

Awesome party, really good pizza. First time I went out to Café Spokonja, it is a good place for big groups especially because they have the space for it. Was surprised to see such a big turnout at the event. Would like to say thanks to Aga for being a good host. And I would definitely try to attend future events!
