Great eel toast. We stopped here on a tour from Amsterdam and walked about 10 minutes to this wonderful restaurant on the water and it was will worth it. We only had about 45 minutes but they had great fish and chips, wine and fish burger. It was of the main tourist street so it wasn’t crowded and the staff was extremely friendly!

Came back for lunch this time and it was as awesome as before. We got some Radlers, eel on toast as starter as well as the calamari which was excellent. The eel was super lusciously smoked like butter and just superb!
For lunch, all three of us got the fish burger. I was expecting a traditional fish burger despite the menu saying croquette, but it was amazing with robust flavors that I thought would be also amazing in a fish pie. The accompanying salad was also great with excellent dressing and the chips were crispy.
For dessert I got the chocolate brownie with mango sorbet and my dining companions got a Dame Blanche and a mango sorbet by itself. My brownie was moist and full of great chocolate taste but the mango sorbet was the bomb — would totally recommend and can’t wait till we come back again!

Direkt am Hafen von Volendam, schön gelegenes Fischrestaurant mit großer Terasse. Wir wurden stets sehr freundlich bedient. Waren einmal zum Abendessen und 2 mal nur auf ein Getränk dort. Getränkeauswahl ist groß und preislich ok. Essensauswahl auch sehr vielfältig, preislich etwas höher. Wir hatten Ijsselmeer-​Aal gebraten und Zanderfilet. Beides sehr lecker, mit interessanten Beilagen serviert. Insbesondere der Aal war herausragend gut. DAnke für die schöné Zeit.
