IKEAs are similar throughout, but this IKEA has been remodeled and looking good!
The only reasons I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the bistro located inside the store is kind of in the way and makes for crazy walking traffic and could have been avoided if designed slightly different. The parking situation is also a bit hectic, but then again I think that’s true for all IKEAs.
Everything else is great. Well organized, large selection of current stock, and pretty friendly service. It’s also located near several Utrecht stores so it’s pretty convenient.

The location is quite convenient (Bus 7 stops right outside) and there is a lot of parking available. The Utrecht IKEA is the biggest one I’ve seen. The layout is typical but the dining area is quite large and new. The services (transport, etc) are pretty efficient. I went on a Friday afternoon (~5 pm) and got my furniture delivered three hours later!

Utrecht, The Netherlands
New and improved, this IKEA is now the largest in the country and the fact that I live a fifteen minute bike ride away makes me a very happy camper!
Right now I’m still excited for them to finish the new restaurant which should reopen in about two or three weeks.
Though I still love IKEA Amersfoort, the proximity to my house and size of this one, may just make it my new favourite IKEA.
