Have gone multiple times to rent canoes, really pretty to go up the river and end at theehuis rijnauwen for a well deserved Dutch pancake and get to watch other people paddle by. Will definitely return

This is a rental service for canoe and rowing boats. You can reach it by bus from Utrecht central station. Once you are on the water you can either paddle back to the city or enjoy the wetlands (Rijnauwen).
You have to pay a deposit first (25 Euros) and when you come back you can pay according to the time you rented the boat. They also sell ice cream and beer or whatever you need for your trip ;)
