De Parade happens every year in the Summer for two weeks, usually at the end of July. Hosted in Moreelsepark, it consists of several spaces managed by different performers presenting theatre acts and shows. Most shows are in Dutch, but there’s also something in English for international visitors. There are food and drink courts all around and it’s good to enjoy some fresh beer while watching performers going around the park to promote their show. Definitely something to try for a taste of local flavor.
