Great small café with a huge selection of beers (draft and bottle). If you’re lucky they have to get it from the basement, which is in the middle of the café. Super friendly staff, crowd is mostly locals and regulars. One of my favorite bars in utrecht!

When you have nothing to do on a cold, winter Saturday afternoon, this is one of those places you go with friends (or by yourself to read a book) to drink in a nice atmosphere with a touch of melodrama. Some weekend afternoons they have snacks just because :)
It’s almost always got a good crowd, sometimes packed at night and hard to find a seat in the small area. Great, rotating beer selection and some whisky to boot. Great staff.

One of the nicest cafés on the planet — and with a enormous, fantastic selection of whiskies and other beverages. Pleasant proprietor, friendly patrons. Certainly one of the more impressive beer selections I’ve seen (and they have La Chouffe, my favorite, on tap). And they have the Frank Boon geuze in bottles too … ALWAYS worth a visit for a drink or three whenever you are in Utrecht!
