Randomly on a Saturday morning I have ended up at Badhu. It’s a cozy Lebanese style restaurants with pillow seating in the front areas and traditional tables in the main area. One of the first things that I noticed and thought was funny is a hanging fireplace, which is only through video in reality and doesn’t put off any actual heat. The staff was very nice and helpful in explaining the tapas style menu along with giving various suggestions. I even had a brief moment to chat with one of the chefs and it looked as though they were having a good time back there. A happy chef is a good chef. Or is that a fat chef? Since it was lunchtime I only had two small plates. The hummus was fresh and tasty. I also had the broodje pita kaas. This was more of the thick Turkish bread rather that pita bread. The cheese in it was melted though with sautéed red onions. In the said was a yogurt dip and small salad. Overall a good experience.
