Hotel Ibis Tilburg

The Ibis in Tilburg is basically your standard budget hotel and if coming with the right expectations one will not be disappointed. I have stayed in several other hotels in Tilburg and have not been very pleased with any of those — these other places (like the City Hotel and the Mercure) often have better locations or just consider themselves better (like the Auberge du Bonheur) but often charge around € 85 – 150 per night. I stayed at the Ibis for around € 50 and while it was not a great hotel I felt that I got value for money.
It is not in the City Center but for me arriving by car it was convenient. Check-​in was quick and efficient. The room was nothing special but it was clean, had a comfortable bed, the bathroom was clean and fulfilled its purpose. They also offer free wifi in the rooms and the TV had a decent selection of channels so basically nothing to complain about. Would I stay again if in Tilburg — yes but it is not memorable or great, merely sufficient.
