Had never before tried Indonesian food, let alone Dutch Indonesian food. It is AMAZING! I guess I can’t speak for the cuisine type as a whole, but this restaurant was delicious. The restaurant façade isn’t much to look at and it doesn’t seem like there is outside seating. Do not fear, there is plenty of outdoor seating in the back and the ambiance indoors is nice. Excellent service! Very friendly staff, all spoke English very well. For dinner I ordered the Selera Blauw and my dad got the Ikan Rasa. Together this equalled a massive feast of tapas style Indonesian deliciousness. Definitely the way to go as opposed to a single main course each. The flavors are out of this world and the sauces so fresh. Fried bananas… so good. The desserts were really good too. Can’t recall the name of what my dad got, but mine was the black rice pudding with pandan ice cream. The waitress warned that it was a unique flavor and that I could get something else if I didn’t like it. But I did. And it looked so good too. Real artsy preparations. Would definitely come again!
