My wife and I were very excited to find a ramen place in Rotterdam. Especially one so centrally located. The place is nicely decorated with very nice and prompt service. Our food was ok in general but lacked any depth of flavor in the broth and beef. I’ll probably go back, but I’m not in a rush.

Finally a ramen shop in Rotterdam. Starting with of course yakitory and seaweed salad. Then the beef ramen. Just the way it should be. Finally a japanese without all-you-can-eat. It still does not serve hot pot. You can try the super hot ramen if you dare. No alcohol, so you know. The inside is okay. There is room for 4⁄5 people at the window. There is a small section with bar stools. Then the rest of the restaurant has seats and tables, probably in total 20 people can eat here. I absolutely love it. Will come here again.

After failing to find a dim sum restaurant which was open/didn’t have a queue/wasn’t booked out for a wedding — yes, we actually turned away from three venues — we eventually settled for SET. Pun intended. Such an adorable, Japanese noodle house, we sat in a wooden booth by the window looking out onto the street for dinner. Service was friendly and food was quick to come out,(however, they did forget our seaweed salad we ordered), tasty nonetheless. I ordered the Seafood Volcano Ramen — Normal Spicy — which I’m glad I got instead of the super spicy, that is supposedly 400 times hotter than tobacco and a Melon Calpis to wash it down. Would definitely recommend this place to get your ramen fix ! #4Noms
