BEST WESTERN Cityhotel the Goderie

The hotel is very conveniently located just across the square from the train station. I did not see much else of Roosendaal but it is very easy to get to the hotel from the train station.
The hotel is a bit old and has probably not been refurbished in the past 20 years or so. The room has a bit of tired feeling but it was clean. There was a desk with a decent work space and free wireless Internet (you have to get the access code from the reception) and the TV was probably the newest thing in the room. There was also a water kettle which I really appreciate — often it is nice to be able to make a cup of tea or coffee in the room.
The bathroom was pretty small but still sufficient. There was room enough to fit a bath tub in there. A small mistake had probably occurred since the container with shower gel and shampoo had been put on the wrong wall (as far away from the shower as possible). It was no major problem as soap, shower gel and shampoo was also provided separately.
The restaurant at the hotel was pretty decent. Nothing special but the service was consistently friendly. The same was true for everyone at the front desk as well. The breakfast was no really hit, it had the standard things but I would have wanted a bit more variety.
