I was going to give them 4 because of the crappy phone appointments (more below) but once I got there the service was fast and easy.
First of all, I found out I had to bring my car here for a chip in my windshield via my auto insurance website. From Autotaalglas’s website, I was able to fillout a form online to request an appointment. Then I was called by someone who verified everything that I already typed in, after that she then transferred me to the actual location where I wanted to make the appointment and had to start over with them from the beginning about making an appointment. Then the guys tells me, o, we don’t make appointments for that, just come in! Not very handy to put someone through all that when an appointment is not needed, just say that on your website!
Anyway, after I got to the place, the guy asked me what was wrong and I told him about the chip in my windshield. He asked me for my insurance card, made a copy of it, and that was it, they started working on it right away! The waiting room had coffee, soup, water, hot chocolate, and tea. They also had a variety of magazines to look through.
Then about ½ hour later it was done. They guy gave me the keys and that was it. Apparently they work directly with the insurance company to take care of everything else.
I am also happy with the work that was done. While the chip was originally quite small, it looks even smaller now and is not noticeable at all. I highly recommend using this place if you need to get a chip in your windshield fixed.
