This conversion of the old arcade and gambling hall in downtown Hilversum was a great success. While sawed-​in-​half books are a slightly tacky décor choice, the rest of the interior was very well done. Comfortable seating and good lighting complemented the excellent service. Our waiter was patient, informative, and attentive and the food was delicious. Pork belly was a little dry, but tuna sashimi, skin-​on halibut with pea and Pernod purée, steak tartare with garnish (including a «puntzak friet»), and everything else we ordered was excellent. The desserts were fantastic as well with our consensus favorite being the lemon sorbet. Definitely worth visiting again!
