To my surprise, this place ended up being the best option for dinner at Center Parc’s Market Dome. It’s AYCE(coffee, espresso, cappuccino and tea included, other drinks are extra) but 26 € per adult and 10 € for kids can still end up being on the pricier side — depending on what you get. In the end, we ended up staying for 2.5 h since it was not very crowded and the vibe was chill(- you don’t get the feeling that they are just trying to feed people as quickly as possible). The food area features a bunch of different stations — several manned by staff members who are making dishes and food items right in front of your eyes(= the grill featuring grilled chicken, pork and steak, the pasta station featuring 2 different pasta dishes, the pancake station). They have a salad bar, several tables with warm food which they continue to replenish as soon as a tray runs empty, a soup area with 3 soups(tomato basil, pea and wild game stock) which you can dress up with further ingredients and which is accompanied with fresh breads and spreads, a dessert table with a soft ice machine, plenty of sweets and desserts as well as cheeses, and two espresso machines where you can make your own coffee specialties(as mentioned above). The food quality was pretty good and I have to give them brownie points for offering some more modern dishes like parsnip mash(instead of regular mashed potatoes), a kale pasta dish or wild deer stew aside from standard German-Dutch dishes like fried breaded fish, schnitzel, fries, warm baby carrots & broccoli, etc. My personal favorites were items from the salad bar, the grilled pork loin pieces from the grill as well as the blue cheese from the dessert table and pieces of dark wheat baguette and freshly churned herb butter from the soup table. I also like to mention that this place is really kid-friendly. They have an indoor tree house play are with a slide for the little ones, a play area with black boards to write on for the a bit older kids and every child received an activity booklet with pens upon entering the restaurants.
