Walked into Subliem on a Saturday at 5 pm when it was almost empty. By 6 o’clock it had filled up all the way. This is what I had: Appetizer: Carpaccio Classico, which tasted quite good, not too special. Main course: Grilled salmon with olives on top and truffle mayonaise, with some paprika and green beans. Tasted great, although it could have been a little crispier. Dessert: A tasting of all other desserts. This one is great, because it allowed me to try out many different desserts without having to pick. Service is great, writer’s often hum or sing with the currently playing song.

Stopped in to Subliem at 4:30 pm on a Friday and made a reservation for 8:30 pm that evening. When we arrived for dinner it was busy inside and quite nice. The owner?/waiter was very helpful in selecting items and in speaking slow Dutch to us. :) My husband and I both had soups which were just ok, and we also both had fish entrees, which were very good. The wine selection was perfect and the atmosphere of the place was good — lots of appropriate décor, candles and a perfect level of noise. It is a small restaurant with somewhat tight tables, but that kinda makes everyone feel a little cozy. I would go back, but probably would go for a salad instead of a soup next time.
