A very small, simple place, but has great food. After reading the reviews, I was quite excited to visit here, and I was not disappointed! They have a number of different base curries in the main course, and one can choose the key element of the dish, i.e. Meat, seafood, veges, etc. This was great for me, because it meant there was a vegetarian option for each main course. I ordered the red curry with Thai vegetables and tofu, which was accompanied by a very generous portion of steamed rice. When the curry arrived, I was slightly doubtful, since it looked more like yellow curry. But the first bite put all doubts to rest — the flavours at Phang-Nga are beautiful. I was especially pleased that the curry was not ‘spiced-down’(as I call it) which is sometimes the case in Europe — it was sufficiently hot and delicious! Definitely recommended for lovers of Asian food. PS — I think this place is also good value-for-money.

This restaurant lacks many things. great interior, sometimes good service and atmosphere, on the other hand food is full of flavour and taste. My all time favourite selection is chicken with cashew nut for the main dish and coconut chicken soup for starter. Beware that the food is a bit salty and that you will smell like Thai kitchen food after you leave this place. All in all it is a good place for a well priced and very tasty dinner.

This place has really great and authentic Thai food! After a holiday to Thailand(where we just loved all the different flavours in the food), we once went Phang-Nga Bay and were amazed by how similar the tastes were to the food we had in Thailand. Also, the service here is very nice. A couple of our friends moved away to another country. While they were living in Holland, this was one of their favorite restaurants. When they were back in Haarlem once, we went together with them to Phang-Nga Bay and the owner recognized them and told them that it had been quite some time since they had been there! So if you do like Thai food and you are in Haarlem, be sure to check this place out!

OMG… it’s been a while since I’ve had Thai food that was this delicious. SERIOUSLY! Wondering through downtown Haarlem I stopped by Phang-Nga Bay for dinner. I had fried rice w/carrots, scallions, nappa, chicken topped w/mild+chili sauce. I almost licked the plate it was that good. 5+stars!!!
