Great place to relax in the park and have a drink. If you feel hungry and love pancakes, you came to the right address! Reaonably priced and great to visit with children as you can sit outside and play in the park.

Well Tanya V’s review nailed it pretty much.
The place was an old-​school and frumpy pancake house until the new ownership took over I think about two years ago. They have the expanded the menu beyond pancakes and now include a lot of tasty sandwiches and mains (e.g., sate). It’s not by an imaginative menu at all, but it does’t need to be. It’s just a cosy and delightful place to hang out in a beautiful setting. The ewtensoep (split pea) soup I had there last Sunday was among the best I’ve ever had — and I make it from scratch myself.

Can’t believe I hadn’t reviewed this place yet, because I LOVE IT!!!
This tiny little unassuming cabin in the Haarlemmerhout (south Haarlem) is truly fantastic. Yes, they serve pannenkoeken, and yes, the restaurant is sometimes thought of as a children’s restaurant (next to the petting zoo), but I’m adult and I am not ashamed to say that this is one of my favorite places to go in Haarlem.
It is quaint and comfortable, the food is really great and reasonably priced, they serve wine and beer with pancakes, and what more could you really ask for? On a Sunday afternoon, when all you want to do is relax, this is THE place to go. Bar none.
