Finally had a chance to stop-​in to this slightly hidden gem in Haarlem last week for a friend’s birthday dinner and it was really, really nice! We sat outside because it was almost warm enough in Holland ;), and everyone ordered a 3-​course option. I had a lentil salad starter that was fantastic, a salmon entrée that was good — not quite as cooked as I prefer salmon to be, and a crème brûlée for dessert, which was off-​the-​charts fantastic. OFF. THE. CHARTS. CREME. BRULEE!
The wine selection wasn’t quite as good as the food, but not bad. The ambience is perfect in this quiet, church-​centered neighborhood, and I can’t wait to go back and sit inside — because the interior looks super gezellig! A very good find.
