We had a nice stay in this old castle. The rooms are nice, the bed a little bit on the soft side though. Since it’s a really old building, don’t expect the most modern bath. The rooms on the second floor have only small windows which are quite high. The breakfast is good and with 14,50 EUR per person totally alright. The reception desk is friendly and very helpful. The surroundings are quite lovely, it’s next to the old part of the town of elsloo and right on a canal. Maastricht is only a 20min-​drive away.

Michelin recommended restaurant that is a great place to take customers or a special occasion with a loved one. High end, authentic Dutch food. Wonderful selection of wines from various European countries, 4 choices of Gruner Veltliner from Austria, my personal favorite. I suggest trying the cold/​hot starter sampler plate. the cod entrée was light and delicious.
There is also a hotel which is recommended by my co-​workers as service oriented and comfortable. Beautiful grounds.
