I love stopping by this castel when I am in Limburg. The Eijden Castle is a must see if your in this quaint town. The Eijden Castle was created in 1637, and was designed by a French artist called Achille Duchene. Currently the castel is now owned by family Van Hoensbroek, De Gelos, De Liedekerke, which allows free access to the property. The Castel is accessible to everyone, so enjoy it. It is listed as one of the top(100 Dutch historical sites) in the Netherlands. Limburg is one of my favorite parts of the Netherlands to relax and enjoy. The castle is worth stopping by to venture around the premises and garden. Also make sure to visit the cosy village and cafes near the river.
