This is my local supermarket where I get practically all of my groceries. It is located inside the Winkel Centrum so take the escalator/​elevator downstairs from street level.
It is an AH XL which means that they have a wider selection and also additional discounts. It can get busy so there is a good amount of turn-​around and everything is fresh.
Pros:
Wide selection of everything
Self-​checkout machines & you can also use your AH app to check out
Free samples/​demos during the weekend (sometimes)
Open late until 21:00 and open every Sunday
Fruit and vegetables are good quality and fresh
Bread is baked fresh daily on-​site
Free parking (if less than 40 minutes)
Free WiFi
Cons:
Saturdays are crazy busy and it is packed!
Bread tends to run out on Monday evenings
Non-​sale items can be a bit pricey
Tips:
Price scanner is by the frozen pizza section
Bottle recycling is located in the back next to beer
If you parked, hand your parking receipt to the cashier and get 1 euro
