The Peking duck is only skin and fat without any meat whatsoever. It felt the skin came to our table, while the meat was used to prepare another dish. When asked about it, the waitress told us it is supposed to be like that, which is obviously not the case. We felt completely scammed, specially taking into account it is one of the most expensive dishes on the menu.

Have eaten here several times, the quality of the food has gone down in the past few years, however things have gotten better now! We ordered the eggplant hotpot without the meat, fish and shrimp and a platter of zucchini stuffed with shrimp paste. Both dishes were very much to our liking — light, moist and satisfying to our asian food cravings!

Loooooove the dim sum here! It’s always fresh, authentic and delicious! Although I’ve been here very often I never get fed up with Kee Lun. Since there are many different dishes and dim sum options, there’s always something new to try. The normal dishes are pretty good, but their dim sum dishes are really good! Probably the best dim sum in The Hague!

Very good Chinese food… Especially enjoyed the peking duck and the chicken with broccoli, honey and walnuts. One problem the waiters are not good with english but the menu with pictures and the write your order system makes up for that.

We ordered the stir fry noodles with seafood for lunch with only one dim sum dish(Har Gao). Dim sum is pretty good so far and the noodles dish is not bad. I am only giving it 3 stars as we have much better Chinese food in Australia. However I recognize that I am in a different country therefore this may be as good as I get in Holland. Will come back here for my Asian food craving during my time here.

So far, it’s the most legit Dim Sum I’ve had in the Netherlands. It was packed on Monday night(good sign) with large tables having spinny things(good sign) and a mostly Asian crowd(good sign) — so we committed for dinner. We went too heavy on the Dim Sim, ordering six types of noodles, dumplings, and baopaos — but in reality one or two were enough for our small group. Take a look around — the main courses are running the show. As servers carrying whole suckling pigs, crackling peking ducks, and gorgeous overflowing plates of greens pass by your table, you’ll regret your choice to stick with snacks. The salted cod + chicken fried rice should not be missed. Pictures on the menu are a huge advantage and let you spy on other tables to try and order better. It’s not cheap — we somehow managed a € 70 bill between the two of us, granted we had € 17 of beer, but only one main course. They will do takeout containers, so be ready for that.

This is my favorite place in DH for a quick bite after a concert or a late night rehearsal. The food is far better than average and the menu is conveniently printed in Mandarin, badly translated Dutch, and pictures for those of you who are Nederlands-impaired. Eten kaart in Engels? Sorry, het is niet mogelijk. But that’s okay. The food comes quickly and is usually far better than the average Chinese food you’re likely to find in Holland. Plus, the dim sum selection is great. I usually end up getting a noodle soup with either duck or pork, but that’s only because it’s late at night after concerts, and that’s my favorite post-concert guilty pleasure. Everything else looks delicious, but for those who don’t speak Dutch or Mandarin, be wary of asking for a description or translation in English… they might not bring you what you think you ordered. Thankfully there’s a picture menu. The best part, as is usually the case in a place like this is the staff. The head waiter(maybe) is old, surly, and doesn’t seem to like anyone. Or at least not me. There may have been an episode where some of my colleagues and I left origami dinosaurs and cranes along with the money, and ever since then he hasn’t seemed to like any of us, even though we come in a couple times a month.

So far, this is my favorite place in The Hague for dim sum. I don’t speak Dutch or Mandarin very well, so the photo menu is extremely helpful, especially for dim sum newbies I bring. While it’s not really in the spirit of dim sum, it’s easy to order by just writing down the numbers of the dishes you want and have them coming out piping hot. I’ve gotten cheaper dim sum at the place near City Hall, but Kee Lun is much better.
