For € 24 on a Tuesday evening this is seriously reasonably priced, great tasting food. Highly recommend trying it out. Think it’s about € 26 on the weekends. Pay extra for leaving full plates. Fair enough system.
You can order 5 dishes per round, and there’re 5 rounds. Choose from a huge range of sushi and hot food (Ebi (prawn) Tempura is my favourite– ordered it twice!).
I was here in March and the system involved a sheet of paper and pen and you ticked off the dishes you want, but this time there was an interactive menu on a tablet which was amazing. Even though we didn’t speak Dutch, the waiter explained the options clearly, it was simple and innovative.
Warm Sake was great too. The waiters weren’t the friendliest and just kind of threw the food at you, but some staff were nicer than others. Also the desserts were pretty lacking, just included either ice cream, which was lovely, or some fruit and jelly options. Come the end of all that food though, desserts wouldn’t be high up on my list of priorities! They would have to be the only minor complaints.
This restaurant I would highly recommend to anyone who enjoys sushi, and lots of it! Really great time, will be back again.
