It’s a Domino’s Pizza, so the food is exactly what you expect from Domino’s okay quality but could be better. Usually I’d rate this a 3 star place but my last experience with them was so appalling I feel the need to warn people. As an expat and non-native I’ve often had difficulty with websites for Dutch companies. Especially when those websites are as awfully built as the Dominos NL site(I see it’s recently been replaced). Due to the way the(old) site was built it couldn’t be translated, however, the page for editing pizzas could be. So for about a year I would order by grabbing the top pizza and adding the desired toppings to it. However, it turned out later that this was meaning I was under charged. The reason I found this out was that, when my last pizzas were delivered, after being paid, they demanded that I also pay the difference(that they had calculated wrongly I might add). That took my 2 pizzas from € 24 to € 40. When I said I wouldn’t pay for it they said they would take the pizzas back and not refund me. After a lot of too and fro on the poor delivery boy’s phone, and no small number of nasty words from the assistant manager regarding my character, I got the pizzas and was told to «never order here again, you won’t like what you get». I documented this all in a letter and sent it to the NL head office but received no response and haven’t ordered from there since. Oh, and to add insult to injury, I tried to tip the delivery boy, and found out that the delivery boys have to give their tips to the manager. So, if the above hasn’t put you off already, make sure you state clearly that the tip is for the delivery boy and he is not to give it to the restaurant.
