Ridderoordse Bossen

Our go to spot for walking the dog as it’s right across the street from my parents’ house and how lucky we are to have it! The forest is perfect for walking your dog and just magical when it’s snowy.
About eight hundred metres in from the entrance near my parents’ house there’s a nice little play ground and seating area with a few benches and picnic tables. If you go about two hundred metres deeper into the forest there’s even a decent chance of spotting some deer and rabbits.
Basically the forest is great for anyone who’s looking to relax or have a fun afternoon with the kids. The only thing that’s really missing is a natural water element to swim in, but that’s mother nature for you, she just does what she wants. Doesn’t mean that the county couldn’t help her a bit though… *hint, hint *
