Pondok Yanie

Auf der Suche nach einem Restaurant fuer unser gemeinsames Abendessen fanden wir dieses indonesisches Restaurant. Sowohl die vegetarische als auch die nicht-​vegetarische Reisplatte wurde probiert und einhellig fuer sehr koestlich empfunden. Die Bedienung ist zuvorkommend, die Raeumlichkeiten sehr gepflegt und die Speisen aeussert lecker zubereitet. Das Pandok Yanie erhaelt meine absolute Empfehlung!

This is without a doubt my favorite Indonesian restaurant in The Netherlands, and probably my favorite restaurant period in the Heemstede/​Bloemendaal/​Zandvoort area. (As much as I’d hate to group Bloemendaal with Zandvoort) The food is outstanding, especially the rijsttafels, which include a vegetarian one (and Yanie is always willing to make me one with extra peanut sauce items).
The best part about Pondok Yanie, in addition to the great food and very relaxing dining area, is the service. I’m not sure I’ve ever had better service in my life. Even though I only go here once or twice a year when I’m in the country, Yanie always remembers me, knows what foods I like best, and asks about the family, how my life is in the U.S., etc. She also does a great job preparing and wrapping up a big rijsttafel order to go, for if we want to stay in and watch a movie.
Pondok Yanie is simply a great place that really deserves the five stars, especially for Yanie herself. And oh, how I miss her food, living in America with no Indonesian restaurants within DAYS from me.

Das war ein totales Traum-​Essen!
Ich habe ein Nasi Koening Parahi gegessen und das war superlecker!
Da kamen 6 Schüsselchen mit Huhn in Kokossoße, Schweinefleisch und Rindfleisch, 1 gefülltes Ei, Krabben und frische Bohnen mit jeweils einer anderen Soße, dann gabs noch 2 Satespieße mit Erdnusssoße und einen Gewürzreis dazu. Das war superlecker !!! Ich hätte mich reinlegen können!!!
Das Interieur ist sehr gediegen.
Das ist unbedingt einen Besuch wert.
Das einzige, was ich nicht so gut finde, ist, dass die Getränke super teuer sind. Aber das ist hier irgendwie so.
