Ibis Budget Hotel

WHEN WE SAY «BUDGET», WE MEAN «BUDGET»!
We have stayed here a few times. It’s super close to the Amsterdam Airport (AMS). There is another ibis just next door, which is pricier. Don’t confuse the two.
The rooms are small, but the space is used efficiently. The rooms are very clean. Wifi is okay. Noise-​free.
There is a free shuttle that will take you to the airport, but they can get crowded, so plan in advance. if you park your rental car here, you will be charged 17,00EU/day.
We haven’t tried the breakfast, but if the food is anything like the food at the more expensive ibis next door, I’ll pass.
We ordered pizza and had it delivered (New York Pizza — it was great). This is our go-​to hotel when departing from Amsterdam.

Clean rooms, easy transportation and an extra star for the free airport shuttle. The WiFi situation is a joke. Breakfast is so so, I’d say it’s worth 7.50 because I’ll take extra hard broiled eggs and bread and cheese to munch on throughout the day, but the coffee is terrible, gave me heart burn. But because I’m on a budget, I am not complaining. Grateful for the cleanliness.

This is a real budget hotel. Its behind the Ibis Schiphol hotel, they share parking and shuttle etc. But wow, the clientele is different, and the rooms are too. The price seems fairly close to me, especially if you do it through
or
etc., but maybe that’s if you plan last minute or something.
I was put here once when the Ibis was full. The rooms are tiny, even for Europe. And its weird, but I felt like it was this plastic pod (the whole room). It was fine though. The bed was comfortable. The shower worked (no bath) well and it was clean.
The staff here were very nice. I think it recently went non smoking on the inside, and the guests were 4 deep out front smoking, which frankly is irritating to walk through, but whatever. No bar at this hotel, but you can go to the Ibis bar.
I’d stay here again if I had to, but I’d rather pay a little more and stay at the Ibis.
