I used to go to this restaurant a lot. Every time I invited friends for dinner, I went there. Yesterday I was there with a German friend. When I paid the bill, I realized that the waiter charged me 8 euro more. I asked him why, he gave me some excuses which are not valid. Come on, I am not a tourist, I even ordered the foods before so I knew the price. I dont mind the bad quality of service, but at least you can be honest. 8euro wont make you rich. One thing I know for sure is, I wont go to this restaurant any more.

I have seen this place many times and finally stopped in. The food was great. The duck and ribs on the window are very appealing for me. I had the bbq Ribs and some noodles. The ribs were great. absolutely loved them. the noodles were also very good. The portion sizes were very big and the prices were reasonable. I would definitely recommend hit place.

The roasted duck was fatty and non crispy and non juicy. Unacceptable standard for our family. The worst I had in years. MSG in the hot and sour soup too.

Visiting Amsterdam with 2 friends via land tour. If you crave for good with reasonable price but withstand below average serving, which I don’t mind the latter, this place has good roast pork(Siu Yuk) with crispy skin and lean meat in middle. Served with large portion over rice at 9.50 Eu. Its Yank Chow Fried Rice(10.5 Eu) is reasonable portion also. It costs 22 euro for beef with green vegetable at Switzerland served with ½ portion. Strongly recommend for those searching for decent Cantonese style food. Especially after eating only pizzas and missing Cantonese food for a while. Good dollar(euro) value for any U.S. traveler. Locates in mid of Amsterdam China town.

Didn’t realize that I have not had rice for a month till my friend came to visit. I have been craving for canton barbecue for a while though. Yes, I got the rosted duck. Not crispy and too fat which I would not call it juicy. The service was worst I have ever seen here. If you just go for Cantonese food I can give it an okay. But dinning experience is not pleasant at all.

I only tried one dish at Wing Kee: the beef chow fun. That’s always a good test of whether a chef can handle a wok well. And it was excellent. One star off for the less than stellar service. Place really needs another waitress. The lady there was running around like a headless chicken dealing with the packed house.

A decent place for Asian food. The food itself is pretty good but the service is really bad, even for Dutch standards. The servers are not friendly at all and it takes really long for the food to come out. The food is also sent to the table one dish at a time. I got mine first and was ¾ of the way done eating by the time the list person got their food. So the food it not bad if you don’t mind putting up with the service.

A small chinese restaurant for having a quick lunch/dinner. Try the roasted Peking duck, it’s absolutely wonderful!

by far the best chinese roast pork in amsterdam! super crispy crackling yet tenderly marbled meat. their roast duck is also a best seller but only number 2 on my meat option order list. i also like their dumpling soup, which always compliment my order of roast pork well. a generous portion of cabbage comes standard in your bowl of soup as well as in your plate of pork to provide a balance diet. the menu is pretty comprehensive with a wide selection within and across a wide spectrum. plenty of seating available with clean toilets located on the second floor. service staff also are friendly and helpful.
