I really want to love this place. I truly do because what’s better than dropping off your dirty laundry and retrieving it later, effortlessly.
I’ve come here several times and each time I leave feeling like a fool.
I dropped off a cotton blanket that my cat peed on (I can’t believe I’m a cat owner… sulk). I asked the man if he could remove the beastly stain/​odor. He guaranteed it.
I picked up my cotton blanket from him, and guess what:
I was charged 40 euros for him throwing it into his washing machine and dryer.
Plus, the stain and odor remained. I threw away the blanket. And, was 40 euros poorer after.
The clothing I’ve brought in for cleaning are never anything special. No nice fragrance, no special folding, no softness. And, I always pay an arm and a leg for them to simply throw into their machines.
Bottom line: I won’t go back. As sad as I am to not have laundry service now, I just can’t justify it.
Sad face!
(One positive thing: one of the old men who runs it is super sweet and smiley, the other a grump, but the smiley one is a cute little doll!)
