After reading Tutti Frutti review on Unilocal,I was curious about visiting this store. Low and behold, I realize that I had been in this store already. I just didn’t realize it, until today when I passed by the shop and toke a look up at the sign. This is the type of second hand shop you may find something cute or not. What I like about them is not that they are just a second-hand shop, but also a consignment shop for women and kids. I am always a big fan of consignment shops! I love these type of stores, because they help me clean out my closet to have space, so I can eventually go buy something new. Also, I notice they are reasonable in pricing their items as well, no unrealistic prices in here. The store is organize well and divided into colors. They also have a small children and man section in the back of the store. Lady at the front desk is really kind as well.

This may be my favorite second hand store in the city. Not only does it have a great selection at reasonable prices, it’s very well organized. No digging and rummaging to find a great deal — sorted by color, shoes neatly placed and jeans organized by size. Such a refreshing change. There’s an ample amount of roomy dressing rooms. A large kids section. Some items for men too. I recently went with a friend and I walked away with an awesome high quality leather jacket for 65E and she walked away with an excellent condition Tommy Hilfiger tweed blazer for 40E.

I really liked Tutti Frutti’s selection. Nice second hand clothes at reasonable prices. They cater mainly to women but also have a small men’s section. I really wanted to find something here today but didn’t. They have shirts sweaters, a small selection of coats and shoes, and a few accessories as well — bags, belts, sun glasses. Hopefully I’ll make it back before I leave back home.

Tutti Frutti(located at Bilderdijstraat 147 — not De Clerqstraat) is, as they say in Dutch, a heel leuk second hand store for clothing(that loosely means ‘very fine’). I’ve been there twice, both times finding items. One in the summer and once in September(last week). Recently I left the store with way more than I had intended… a pair of jeans that fit perfect for 15 euro, a dress(perfect for the office and also for a party with the right accessories) for about 30 euro, and a red purse for 10 euro. So, prices vary. It is not the cheapest second hand/vintage shop around, but their items are quality and the store is laid out well, so that you don’t need to dig. The following morning I went back and picked up a sweater I had been eyeing, as well. As I said… too much! I was with a friend and she bought a trench coat and two tops to wear to the office. The biggest problem with this store is that it is too close to my apartment, and therefore it is too easy to shop there. They are open late on Thursdays, which is very convenient. They also have what looks like a decent selection of men’s clothes and their little baby second hand winter coats are so cute!
